100 serious does the phone book called ‘white pages’ only have listings for white people

i got my new white pages phone book and needed to look up a number of an african american. it was not there. i then proceeded to lookup a few more african americans i know and they weren’t there either. is there a separate phone book for african americans

maybe they dont want stupid white kids calling so they have their numbers unlisted

yup, and the yellow pages lists only asianorientals.

what planet did you just arrive from!!roflmbao

it is called..having an option of you number being listed or unlisted!goodnessa mind is a terrible thing to waste.

you are retarded .its for everyone

stop it..you cant possibly be serious.

hillarious! - no, sweetheart. the white pages is a listing of (mainly) residential listings of Reverse Cell Phone lookup all multi-cultural backgrounds, including african americans. try finding a listing for your friend online instead. perhaps at switchboard

no the white pages are on white paper as opposed to the yellow colored paper of the yellow pages. hmm, this is for standard telephone books from the mainstream telephone companies. if you got the white pages from some other source, who knows

how dumb can one be.

white pages refers to the color of paper on which it is printed. early phone books used white paper for the regular customers and yellow paper for the commercial customers to make it easier to separate them. thus the phrases white pages and yellow pages.

no this is not what the white pages means silly man! to follow that logic, when you looked up african american names in the black pages you couldn't see the writing, cause it would have to be written on black paper and you couldn't read the black lettering! ( or it would have to be written in white lettering and Phone lookup the yellow pageswould be for asiansi think your just pulling everyones leg here..you can't be serious

no. maybe all the african americans you know have unlisted numbersthey're just called the white pages because the border around the text is white. white pages are just used for residential listings. yellow pages are used for advertisements. blue pages are generally for government listings.the whole point of coloring pages is so that you can quickly, at a glance, know which part of the phone book you need to use.

you dont have to be in the phone book if dont want to. you just tell the phone company and pay a fee, and you will not appear in the phone book.
